accusing spirit!

“…. for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down” (Revelation 12:10)

A wicked spirit which satan brings is the spirit of accusation. For the first time, it began in Adam who fell down. When he committed sin, satan placed this spirit in him. So, firstly, he accused his wife. He said, “The woman whom you gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I ate”. His wife Eva also without hesitation accused the serpent, hiding her sins. She said, “The serpent deceived me and I ate”.

The first parents joyfully praised, worshipped and were rejoicing with God before committing sin. Their spiritual life slid fast when they fell from the zenith of glorifying God. They stooped down to ignominy of accusing each other.

Even today, this spirit is doing things in many families. Mother-in-law accuses the daughter-in -law, the wife accuses her husband and the parents accuse their children. The reason is that there is no divine love and praising of God in these families. It is because of this, the spirit of accusation has afflicted them.

This brings hatred, anger and the adamant nature into the family and in the end, they forgo peace. They are unable to feel the presence of God. The spirit of accusation demolishes the integration and the loving fellowship in the family. Finally, they will have to get down into the pit with agony along with satan who has been cast out.
Dear children of God, when the words of accusation of others come out of your mouth, stop them at once. Understand that you have fallen down from the first love. Repent with tears. As far as possible seek an apology and reconcile with all those whom you might have wounded. “…. do not let the sun go down on your wrath, nor give place to the devil” (Ephesians 4:26, 27).

These people do not see the good things which others do and only the bad things are seen. They do not appreciate the good things but pinpoint the bad things and accuse. In the end, satan brings them under his control. After this, accusing becomes their routine.

Dear children of God, if anyone in your family is affected by the accusing spirit, fast and pray for them and bring them into the first love.

To meditate: “Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whoever you are who judge” (Romans 2:1).
