river of living water!

“And he showed me a pure river of water of life clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb” (Revelation 22:1).

Lift up your eyes to heaven and look at the throne where the Lord and the lamb are seated. From there, a pure river with clear living water descends towards you. That river is bringing all the heavenly blessings to you. It cools your heart and makes you rejoice; brought you cheer and hope. This year, God blesses you with this divine river.

From the beginning to the end of the Scripture you may read about several kinds of rivers. In the book of Genesis, we read about a wonderful river which flew in the Eden Garden. It made the garden fertile. There grew gold and precious stones (Genesis 2:10, 12).

Today, the river which is the Holy Spirit coming from the heaven will make your spiritual life prosperous. The holiness which is precious like gold and faith will be filled in your life.

Let you be with thirst over the heavenly river. Ask “Oh, Holy Spirit, descend on me. Cleanse my life and make me a blessing to others”. The river of living water which is the Holy Spirit will bring eternal life to you. He will bring you God’s power and strength to you.

You have to receive the six important blessings which come out of this river. (1) Fountain of Life (Psalm 36:9, Proverbs 10:11, 13:14, 16:22, Jeremiah 17:13). (2) Living Water (Song of Solomon 4:15, Jeremiah 2:13, Zachariah 14:8), (3) Words of Eternal Life (John 6:68, Acts 5:20, Philippians 2:14) (4) Way of Life (Proverbs 6:23, 10,17, Jeremiah 21:8) (5) Tree of Life (Genesis 2:9, Proverbs 3:18, Revelation 2:7) (6) Path of Life (Psalms 16:11, Acts 2:28, Hebrews 10:19).

The life of God is there in all the above things. Divine power is there; the strength which descends from the heaven is there. The river which is the Holy Spirit brings all these things to you. He is the one to flow into you as a river with living water. “They are abundantly satisfied with the fullness of your house and you give them drink from the river of your pleasures” (Psalm 36:8).

On this day, desire and search the presence of God. God not only quenches your thirst but also He will bless you and make you quench the thirst of thousands of people.

To meditate: “Ho! Everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and you who have no money,
come, buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price” (Isaiah 55:1).
