perfection in faith!

“Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect?” (James 2:22)

There is a basic faith, a foundational faith and a perfect faith too. By faith, God created the worlds. It was fulfilled. “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will by no means pass away” (Mathew 24:35).
What does the ‘initial faith mean? “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1). What does the ‘foundational faith’ mean? It is nothing but totally relying on God (Hebrews 6:1-3). Under this faith, people will remain unconcerned after placing the entire burden on God. Relying on God for one hundred percent and inheriting the whole faith what God has in Him is known as the Perfect Faith.
For example, look at Abraham who is the father of the believers! Faith was in him. He relied on God. When God told him to go to a land that He will show him, he believed those words one hundred percent and began his journey in utter obedience, not even knowing what the destination was. What was his faith? It was his faith that “One who called me is faithful and He will guide me.” The act of departing and the faith he had placed on God were perfected in him.
When God said “I have made you a father of many nations,” I will make your descendants as the dust of the earth” and “I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore” he did not even had a child but fully believed that these things will happen (Romans 4:17, 18).
Bible says “And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb. He did not suspect the promise of God with disbelief but convinced and whole heartedly believed that the Lord is empowered to fulfil His promise and glorified God. Thus he became a strong believer. And therefore “it was accounted to him for righteousness” (Romans 4:19-22).
A doctor became sick and was about to die. At that time God gave him a promise “I will extend your lifespan”. The doctor believed those words and began to thank God. Because of this, the power of God descended on him. He received the divine healing and health. Dear children of God, hold the promises of God firmly. They will definitely be fulfilled yes, and in Him Amen.

To meditate: “By faith Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, through which he obtained witness that he was righteous” (Hebrews 11:4)
