pleasing by faith!

“Without faith it is impossible to please Him” (Hebrews 11:6).

When you live in this world, you will have the desire to do great and mighty things for God. It is good indeed. But it is essential that you should know what is pleasing to God before doing them. “He who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him” (Hebrews 11:6).
A famous servant of God was in the final moments of his life. Apart from his family members, many missionaries and elders were sitting around his body and were praying and singing. All of a sudden, he breathed last and after ten minutes he was revived of life and people around were greatly surprised. They inquired him whether in those ten minutes God had met him with angels with crowns.
But the man sadly said, “God was not happy over me. “Son, you have done a lot of ministries. You have installed so many orphanages and Bible Colleges and you have worked hard. But you did not do what is pleasing to me. You did not realise what my liking was. In the name of ministries you involved in certain unwanted things. I feel sad for you.
It touched the hearts of everyone. If at all you wish to take part in the glorious resurrection, you should know what God likes and what the things are that we should not interfere. Some people will be having a call over certain ministries. Some people will open orphanages here only with the sole aim of receiving foreign aid by fixing a particular amount for the maintenance of a child.
Some people will resort to running Bible colleges and land up with heavy debts unable to make both ends meet. Such things make them lose God’s perfect blessings and Divine Grace. One person initiated to run a Matrimonial Centre. Outwardly, it looked a good thing but God said “Burden on Gospel’ alone is what I want you to be involved in. I have been gracious to some people so that they involve in such social activities and they will take care of such things. When it comes to marriage, factors like jewels, cash, property, caste and physical beauty will be hidden into. These things are not for you and you follow me.”
Dear children of God, life is short and so let it be pleasing to God. So, open your eyes towards the heaven and ask “Daddy, is this thing in accordance with your will? Will you accompany me on this move of mine? Will my present deed make you happy?” Submit yourself to do God’s will.

To meditate: “By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible” (Hebrews 11:3).
