“…..out of weakness were made strong, became valiant in battle, turned to flight the armies of the aliens” (Hebrews 11:34).
In an oratorical competition, a woman cleverly said “In appearance, men look strong with the moustache and they possess good height and weight too. But, we the women are in fact stronger than them. Do you know why? God created Adam from clay and so they may break like a pot. But He created the women from a bone and it is apparent that bone is stronger than clay.”
During many occasions, women are mentally very strong. Most of the men become broken hearted and lose their boldness when they come across problems, struggles and sufferings. But, getting strengthened in the soul, the women will triumph in such conditions.
What is faith? It is a Divine strength through which one could draw the strength of God. The faith warriors never thought about their weaknesses but relied upon the divine strength and lived victoriously. They proclaimed that Christ was dwelling within them and the Holy Spirit was within them and so there was no necessity for them to fear over anything. Whom does God choose? Go through I Corinthians 1:27. God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty.
If you have a weakness, think of it and glorify in faith. Paul the Apostle writes his experience: “Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For when I am weak, then I am strong” (II Corinthians 12:9, 10). He boldly said, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13).
David who expanded his kingdom doing great precious things for God saw God’s strength as his own. “I will love you, O Lord, my strength. He delivered me from my strong enemy, from those who hated me, for they were too strong for me” (Psalm 18:1, 17).
Dear children of God, this is the time in which you have to get strengthened in God by faith. Do not value your strength cheaply but establish in God. Through faith, you have to dislodge the mountains and throw them into the sea. You have to pull the mulberry tree by the roots and plant it in the sea. So, touch the God-given faith and stir it up. Your faith will be strengthened in proportion to how long you look at God. Let your faith be strengthened in the fellowship of the believers. When you read the Scripture and claim rights over it, your faith will get strengthened.
To meditate: “Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants you have ordained strength,
Because of your enemies, that you may silence the enemy and the avenger” (Psalm 8:2).
