those who bear good fruits!

“By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be my disciples.”(John 15:8).

God has a plan for you. Firstly, you have to bear good fruits TO for God. Secondly, you should bear lot of fruits. Thirdly, people should glorify the Lord’s Name seeing your fruitful life. Dear children of God, are you leading a fruitful life?
During those early days at Tirupathur Fasting Camp, coffee and other food were served under a huge Banyan tree. During seasons the entire tree will be filled with red coloured fruits. Thousands of birds will happily feed them.

Year after year, the quantity of fruits will be on the increase in that tree. The tree might say this as the reason for the increase. “Brother, last year thousand birds visited me in search of fruits. After due propagation, the birds may visit me in a bigger number during this year’s season and I will have to bear two thousand fruits. The number of visiting birds increases year after year and I need to bear three thousand fruits next year.”

The Tamil poet Bharathiyar sang during the time of Independence as “Ownership for the entire association of forty crores of Indians.” But the population has risen to more than 130 crores. When the population increases, the number of people saved and the number of Spiritual people should also be on the increase correspondingly. Is it not?

During those days, the tenure for the ‘samba’ rice to reach harvest was six or seven months. But now, due to the rapid increase in population people have invented new varieties of rice which take only three months to reach the stage of harvest. Some varieties like IR 20, take just two months for the purpose. In such a scenario the Heavenly Kingdom expects more fruits from you.

Dear children of God, reveal Jesus Christ in you through your Spiritual fruits. More than the talking of your mouth let the sweet life of yours with spiritual fruits talk. You need both the gifts and fruits of the Spirit. But the fruits should be more.
A family was financially poor and God heard their prayer and blessed them. Their relatives approached them for help and some missionaries also went to them expecting offertory for their ministry.

When they hesitated and turned back God said “My son, I am keeping you as a fruit bearing tree. So never get irritated over the people who approach you for help. If you come forward to give more fruit, I am interested in lifting you further and bless you.”

To meditate: “Every branch in me that does not bear fruit He takes away;[a] and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit” (John 15:2).
