“When you roam, they will lead you; when you sleep, they will keep you; and when you awake, they will speak with you.” (Proverbs 6:22).
One of the biggest blessings of God to the mankind is the Bible. For some people it may be a historical book, for some it may be a book of science and to some a book describing the creation of the world. Bur for you it is a book through which God who created you speaks with you. The voice of the Bible is reflected in your soul. “Bind them continually upon your heart; Tie them around your neck.” (Proverbs 6:21).
No other book could comfort you as the Bible does. At the time of my Redemption, I have felt many portions in the book of Isaiah speaking to me. They encouraged me. They showed me the way for me to proceed. “Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart; for they are life to those who find them and health to all their flesh.” (Proverbs 4:21-22).
When you wake up in the morning read the Bible. It will get you all the mercies you need for the day. It will bring the counselling of God to you. The Bible very clearly shows about the end of the world and how everyone has to prepare himself for the coming of Christ.
When the war broke out between Iraq and Saudi Arabia many people came to me and enquired “Is there anything written in the bible about this? Is it true that some prophecy is getting fulfilled?” They were very happy when I gave them an explanation through the book of Revelation. Yes. He has very clearly given an account in the Bible about the future, about the end of the world and about the eternity.
Always protect all the verses through which God speaks to you in your heart. Let them keep on speaking with your soul. “And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart.” (Deuteronomy 6:6). “You shall teach them to your children, speaking of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. And you shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.” (Deuteronomy 11:19-20).
Dear children of God, every day you are speaking to God through your prayer and God speaks to you through the Bible. Only if both are involved it will be a conversation and a glorious Christian experience. Only that will lead you to a blessed life.
To meditate: “But his delight is in the law of the LORD and in His law he meditates day and night.” (Psalm 1:2).
