scripture and diary!

“Rivers of water run down from my eyes, because men do not keep your law” (Psalm 119:136).

Many of us used to begin to write daily diaries at the time of New Year. We make many resolutions also at that time. But these resolutions cease to exist in a short span of time. The writing of Diary also abruptly ends on a day. OK, fine, if the Bible begins to write a diary about us how it would be?
January 10: Today I was given as a gift to a newly wedded couple. Many gift articles had been dumped in a room. But I was not given the importance like them. The couple kept me aside saying ‘just a Bible’.

January 16: Today is Sunday and the newly wedded couple were preparing to go to the Church. Only then they had the thought that they had to take the new Bible to the Church. So I was searched and identified. I was safely taken to the church but was brought back without even opening for once.
January 27: They were about to start a new trade and the Pastor had come to pray. He referred Deuteronomy, chapter 28 and read “The Lord will command the blessing on you in your storehouses and in all to which you set your hand, and He will bless you in the land which the Lord your God is giving you”. They were very happy.

July 5: Many months had passed by and I was not at all even opened. One night they hastily indulged in searching it. The wife had a bad dream and she started to scream. They placed me under her pillow.

November 1: Today the servant maid convulsed because of the demons and they took valiant efforts to find me. They took me and hit the servant maid on her head with me in an effort to chase out the demon.

December 15: They were white washing their home for Christmas. I was in the bed room and to facilitate the bed room to be cleaned I was placed in a dust bin and kept at the backyard. I had to stay with the dirty clothes and other rotten things till the white washing was completed. Being very pure, I was so sad in the situation I was put into.

Note: I was used very selfishly and at other times I was boycotted. I was sad that these people did not know that they will be judged for all these things. I was also worried how long I will have to stay here.

This is an imaginary note indeed. But analyse it little. Whether you read the Bible or not but the Bible reads your life.

To meditate: – “My eyes are awake through the night watches, that I may meditate on Your word” (Psalm 119:148).
