A help to lift up!

“For, if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, for he has no one to help him up” (Ecclesiastes 4:10)

Our Lord Jesus Christ alone could lift you up. He is the one who could lift you out of the miry clay. He is the one to lift you from the evil habits and lusts. He will lift you and place you at a greater level before any aftermath catches you.

What is Salvation? Lifting one from the abyss is what Salvation is. The Lord lifts you from the evils and iniquities, washes you with His blood and confirms your place in the spiritual rock. He clears all the curses and the evil deeds of satan that were following you and saves you.

When I was a boy I jumped into a well with the wish to learn swimming but was immersed. There was no one to help me. My elder brother who came that way unexpectedly saw my dress near the well and understood the danger I was in. He at once jumped into the sea and saved me. Very similar to this, the Lord redeemed your soul after lifting you from the depth of the abyss.

One robber was hanging on the cross. He prayed “Lord, remember me when you come into your kingdom”. His soul was about to depart to the hell and fire of sea but the Lord lifted his soul and took it the hade. King David said “You are my help and my deliverer” (Psalm 40:17, 70:5).
Today, in whatever problem you may be experiencing or whatever issue may me tormenting you, simply look at God. He is the one to deliver you from the snare of the fowler
and from the perilous pestilence. He is the one to protect you from the conspiracies of your enemies, from the flare of the cruel persons and from the evil power of the sorcerers.

Bible says “if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed” (John 8:36). “You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free (John 8:32).” “The Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty” (II Corinthians 3:17).

The children of Israel were struggling for four hundred and thirty years in the slavery of Egypt. They cried over who could save them from the hands of the Pharaoh. God descended to save them. The children of Israel were relieved from the slavery of Egypt right on the when the Blood of the lamb was rubbed on the walls of their homes.

To meditate: – “But the Lord stood with me and strengthened me, so that the message might be preached fully through me, and that all the Gentiles might hear. Also I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion” (II Timothy 4:17).
