“But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name” (John 1:12).
You are the children of God most high. Learn to live with that thought, honour and respect. The Holy Spirit also witnesses that you are the children of God. “The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together” (Romans 8:16, 17).
Some years back there was an internal mutiny and the agitators caught hold of the then king Louis and beheaded him. The queen was also killed. People called this act as ‘judgement of the people for a tyrannical rule’.
The king had an eight year old son. When the protestors tried to kill that boy too to bring in a holistic end to the cruel governance, some people within them prevented that move. Their reasoning for preventing the move was that the small boy was an innocent boy and if killed will reach the heaven easily and that would not be the right way to take revenge. They suggested that the boy should be put into sinful life before killing so that hell will be his destination.
The small kid was sent to a aged female sorcerer for involving him in sins. The lady tried her level best to make the boy to commit sins but all her efforts ended in futile. He never listened to her evil suggestions and did not res[pond to her suggestions.
He said that since birth he had not spoken a bad word and will not do that in future also and was stubborn not to behave cheaply. He categorically said that he will live like a prince and die like a prince too. An old saying in Tamil says that the tigers will not eat grass, at whatever level be their hunger. The case is the same with cubs too.
Dear children of God, you feel never behave cheaply if you realise that you are the child of righteous and Lord of most high and how precious you are in the eyes of the Lord. Your life is special, important and glorious before God. So, never resort to cheap and low class initiatives and thereby wound His heart. Dear children of God, look at yourselves in the way God looks at you. Always please him by leading a life as highly valued by the Lord.
“Love does not parade itself, does not behave rudely, thinks no evil” (I Corinthians 13:4, 5).
